New York, New York!

While New York is not exactly the same as Europe, it's a nice little preview of what's to come! I just returned from 6 days in New York City. Myself, and 17 other students visited New York City for 13 tours of companies in the fashion industry including Tommy Hilfiger, Instyle USA, DKNY and Nanette Laporre. As a group we also saw the hit broadway musical "American Idiot". Though the purpose of the trip was academic, we had a lot of freetime that was full of sightseeing, eating, and of course shopping!! This was my 5th trip to New York City and the 2nd year that I participated in the study tour through Fontbonne's fashion program. Here are some photos from our trip!

Ready and Waiting!

Hello!

As you may already know, this summer I'm heading to London for 3 months to attend a study abroad program at American Intercontinental University. I've created this blog so that I can share my experience with everyone at home in real-time. I'll be posting about my preperations leading up to my departure on June 1, as well as day-to-day updates about my time in Europe. My school is only in session Monday through Thursday so on the weekends I'll be taking trips to Paris, Barcelona, Ireland, and wherever else the mood may strike. I'm very excited about this once in a lifetime opportunity and I look forward to sharing it with all of you!

Countdown:
85 days until departure!
